Legasea Marine was selected as a Clean Business Award Winner for quarter one of 2024.

Legasea’s CEO Jennifer Hall accepted the award at the Virginia Peninsula Clean Business Forum Awards Breakfast on Wednesday, March 13th.

The coalition recognized Legasea’s involvement in a number of clean-up efforts, such as removing abandoned watercraft and initiating a living shoreline project at the marina site.

The Virginia Peninsula Clean Business Forum is a coalition working to improve the appearance of our business communities through litter control, recycling and beautification. Periodic meetings are held to bring members up to date on techniques and programs to enhance the visual environment of the community and to inform businesses of available resources. The awards forum consists of representatives from James City County, Newport News, Hampton and York County, Virginia.
